MEAT MASALA PALAV RECIPE

Items Required:

Meat: 750gms
Oil : 4 spoons
Onion: 100gms
Lemon: 1
Karibevu: 2 petals
Green pea: 150gms
Salt as per taste

Items for Masala:

Coconut grated: 1 ½
Coriander leaf : 1 bundle
Cumin: 2 spoons
Green ginger: 10gms
Chili: 10
Garlic: 2
Gasagase: 2 spoons

Method of Preparation :

Wash mutton after cutting into small pieces and add green pea. Cut coriander leaf, onion into small pieces and roast all these in a pan with oil, adding curry leaves. Add grinded ingredients of masala to this with salt and a lemon juice. After boiling for some time put down the pan from the oven. Boiled rice  to be included to this. This is the kind.

The following Items required to preparation another type of Palav :

Basumati Rice                    250gms
Chakke                    2gms
Cardamom                    3
Ghee                        2 spoons
Turmeric powder                ½ spoon
Onion                        25gms
Pepper seed                    1 spoon
Clove                        4
Salt for taste

Method of Preparation :

Keep aside after removing the husk of onion and cut into small pieces. Keep a pan over the oven and put some ghee into it. Roast chakke – cloves,cardamom, pepper after putting onion pieces into it adding turmeric powder. Add rice to it and fry for about two minutes. Pour four cups of boiling water to these along with required salt. Boil this till evaporation of water in mild flame. Add all ingredients of masala of mutton as explained earlier. Boil for fifteen minutes, then serve.

MUTTON BIRIYANI RECIPE

Items Required:

Meat: 500gms
Curd: 1 cup
Thin rice:  ¼ cup
Coriander leaves: ½ bundle
Oil: 50gms
Small onion: 2
Garam masala: 1 spoon
Salt for taste

Materials for Masala :

Onion: 2
Cardamom: 10
Green chili: 10
Garlic: 1
Ginger: 5gms

Method of Preparation :

Keep rice in a vessel after washing for boiling with sufficient water. After boiling till three – fourth put down the vessel from the oven. Remove the husk of the garlic and onion; keep ready green chili, ginger, coriander leaves for grinding after washing. Then grind in a stone mortar all these ingredients. Then keep some oil for roasting in a pan and put pieces of onion into it and roast till it becomes to brown shade. Then put the solid grinded masala into the pan with garam masala powder, salt. Mingle all this with a turning ladle and put all the mutton pieces into this and boil for some time. After boiling to certain extent add the rice already boiled with the pan and turn smoothly with a ladle. After cooking all this to sufficient level put roasted onion pieces over this and mix with a turning ladle properly. Now the Biriyani is ready.
