MALPURA RECIPE

Ingredients:
Maida- 1 cup
Condensed milk- 1 cup
Fresh cream- 1 1/2 cups
Milk- little
Saffrom- little
Ghee- for frying
For stuffing:
Caramel nuts:
Cashew nuts- 1/4 cup
Sugar- 1/4 cup
Preparation Method:
1. Mix maida with 3/4 cup o f condensed milk, 1 1/2 cup fresh cream and little more milk to prepare pouring consistency batter (like dosa dough).
2. Melt sugar in a pan till it turns golden yellow in colour.
3. Mix broken chshews and pour on a greased plate.
4. When it sets, break into pieces and crush coarsely using a rolling pin.
5. Heat electric frying pan to 1800 C till indicator switch turns off.
6. Take little batter using a small ladle and pour like a small pan cake on top of the pan. (6 or 7 pan cakes at a time).
7. Add little ghee around, close with lid and cook for a minute.
8. Turn over and cook lightly.
9. Spread little crushed nuts on top.
10. Arrange on a serving dish, spoon little more condensed milk on top and then serve either hot or cold.
