STUFFED CHOCOLATE SANDESH RECIPE

Ingredients:

Fresh paneer (Cottage cheese)- made from 1 litre cow’s milk
Powdered sugar- 1 cup
Cocoa powder- 1 tbl sp
Finely diced mixed fruits- 1/2 cup
(From tinned fruits)
Rose essence- for decoration
Strain syrup from fruit cocktail tin. Cut the fruits into very thin pieces.

Preparation Method:

1. Preheat electric tawa at 1800 C till the red light turns off.

2. Crumble paneer with hands, add sugar and knead well.

3. Add paneer mixture to hot pan and stir quickly for 1 or 2 minutes.(Do not over cook).

4. Remove it from pan, allow to cool and knead again to form a smooth dough. (Can be put in a mixie also).

5. Divide the dough into two portions.

6. To one portion add cocoa and mix well.

7. Add rose essence to the white portion and knead well.

8. Apply little butter to a plate.

9. Spread white sandesh mixture on the plate and level it properly. (About 1/2 inch thickness).

10. Spread fruit cocktail pieces on top and press well.

11. Put chocolate layer on top, spread evenly and press well.

12. Decorate with silver warq, cut into pieces and serve

MUTTON KHYMA

Items Required :

Mutton : 1kg
Onion : 125gms
Dry chili : 8
Dalchinni : 4 pieces
Clove : 10
Coriander : 3 spoons
Pepper : 2 spoons
Ghee : 100gms
Bengal gram : 400gms

Preparation Method :

Cut the onion in to small pieces. Roast pepper and powder it along with clove pieces, dry chili, roast in oil, powder it. Cut tomato, coriander leaves and clean in water, and cut in to small pieces, remove the husk of garlic, and make small pieces. Wet Bengal gram, clean the mutton well, and make small pieces, grind it, grind ginger and garlic, keep a pan on the hearth, and put oil in it. Roast onion and garlic, and roast all the masala materials. Roast the vegetables and mix. Then mix coriander leaves, add water and keep ten minutes for boiling.
