Wieners need only heating so the wiener and bun for a hot dog sandwich can be heated together, mak¬ing these especially easy.

We suggest wrapping the sandwich loosely in a paper napkin. This wrapping holds the wiener inside the bun and helps hold in some of the heat while allowing the steam to be absorbed by the paper napkin.

To avoid cooling the hot wiener when adding rel¬ishes, add the mustard, catsup, pickles or relish be¬fore heating.

These timings are based on room temperature buns and refrigerator temperature wieners; the wieners are the size that come from 1 1b. package with 10 wieners.

Larger wieners will take longer and in some cases may need to be heated separately since the bread could overheat and toughen before the larger wiener is hot.

If the buns are frozen, they can be used with the refrigerated wieners, using the same times, since the filling, not the bread, is the main factor in sandwich timing.
