Seasoned cabbage casserole

Item required
4 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter or margarine 1/s teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Setting: HIGH
1. Combine cabbage, salt, milk, onion, butter and nutmeg in 2-quart glass casserole; cover.
2. MICROWAVE for 4 MINUTES. Stir and MICRO-WAVE for 3 to 4 MINUTES or until cabbage is tender-crisp. Stir in cheese. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes.

Ham ‘N’ noodle bake

Item required
11/2 cups water
1 cup noodles, uncooked 1 cup cubed cooked ham
1 cup cooked or canned cut green beans
1 can (101/2 oz.) condensed cream of celery soup
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard 1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/3 to 1/2 cup milk
Buttered bread crumbs or French-fried onion rings

Settings: HIGH/DEFROST
1. In 2-quart glass casserole, MICROWAVE water on HIGH for 3 MINUTES. Add noodles.
2. MICROWAVE on DEFROST for about 10 MIN-UTES. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes and drain.
3. Add ham, green beans, soup, mustard, pepper and milk; cover.
4. MICROWAVE on HIGH for 3 to 4 MINUTES or un¬til hot, stirring once. Top with crumbs just before serving.
4 Servings
TIP Casserole can be made ahead by cooking noo¬dles and adding remaining ingredients. Refrigerate. Just before serving, MICROWAVE on HIGH for 6 to 8 MINUTES or until hot, stirring once.

Salmon with mushroom stuffing

Item required
4 salmon steaks, cut 3/4 inch thick
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
3 cups soft bread cubes
2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup milk

Setting: HIGH
1.    Arrange salmon steaks in 2-quart (12 x 7) glass baking dish with thick edges toward outside of dish. Sprinkle with salt; set aside. Combine butter, onion and celery in large glass mixing bowl.
2.    MICROWAVE for 2 to 3 MINUTES or until vegeta¬bles are partly cooked. Stir in bread cubes, mush¬rooms, parsley, salt, pepper and lemon juice; mix well. Sprinkle on top of salmon steaks. Pour milk over all; cover.
3.    MICROWAVE for 12 to 14 MINUTES or until salm¬on flakes easily. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes be¬fore serving. Garnish with lemon slices.
About 4 Servings
TIP If desired, add 2 tablespoons sherry to stuffing
