Ham ‘N’ noodle bake

Item required
11/2 cups water
1 cup noodles, uncooked 1 cup cubed cooked ham
1 cup cooked or canned cut green beans
1 can (101/2 oz.) condensed cream of celery soup
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard 1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/3 to 1/2 cup milk
Buttered bread crumbs or French-fried onion rings

Settings: HIGH/DEFROST
1. In 2-quart glass casserole, MICROWAVE water on HIGH for 3 MINUTES. Add noodles.
2. MICROWAVE on DEFROST for about 10 MIN-UTES. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes and drain.
3. Add ham, green beans, soup, mustard, pepper and milk; cover.
4. MICROWAVE on HIGH for 3 to 4 MINUTES or un¬til hot, stirring once. Top with crumbs just before serving.
4 Servings
TIP Casserole can be made ahead by cooking noo¬dles and adding remaining ingredients. Refrigerate. Just before serving, MICROWAVE on HIGH for 6 to 8 MINUTES or until hot, stirring once.

Pineapple glazed ham

Item required
1 small ready-to-eat ham
(21/2 to 31/2 lbs.)
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup drained crushed pineapple
1 teaspoon dry mustard
8 to 10 whole cloves, if desired

Setting: DEFROST
1. In shallow glass baking dish, place ham fat side down on microwave roasting rack.
2. MICROWAVE for 18 MINUTES. Turn ham fat side up.
3. MICROWAVE for 18 to 20 MINUTES.
4. Combine brown sugar, pineapple and mustard. Slash fat at 1 -inch intervals and insert cloves in fat. Spoon pineapple mixture over ham.
5. MICROWAVE for 6 to 8 MINUTES, or until meat thermometer registers 120°F. (do not leave ther-mometer in oven when cooking). Let stand, covered with foil, 10 minutes.
About 8 Servings
TIPS If one end of ham is smaller, cover with foil during first half of cooking time.
• For an easy glaze, try brushing the ham with apple or currant jelly, orange marmalade, or a combination of 1/3 cup drained crushed pineapple.
• MICROWAVE on MEDIUM for 12 to 13 MINUTES per pound.
