Glazed squash

Item required
4 cups (2 lb.) 1 -inch cubed Hubbard squash 1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon grated orange peel

Setting: HIGH
1. Combine all ingredients in 2-quart glass cas-serole; cover.
2. MICROWAVE for 5 MINUTES. Stir and MICRO-WAVE for 4 to 5 MINUTES or until fork-tender. Let stand, covered, 3 minutes before serving.
4 to 5 Servings

Honey coated carrots

4 medium carrots, sliced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon salt

Setting: HIGH
1. Combine all ingredients in 1-quart glass cas¬serole; cover.
2. MICROWAVE for 5 MINUTES. Stir and MICRO-WAVE for 3 to 4 minutes or until carrots are tender-crisp. Let stand, covered 3 minutes before serving.
2 to 3 Servings
TIP If desired, add 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger or 1 teaspoon chopped candied ginger with honey.

Setting: DEFROST
1.    Arrange chops in shallow baking dish or platter. If desired, brush with honey or orange marmalade; cover.
2.    MICROWAVE until edges of meat begin to sizzle:
3 chops — 6 to 61/2 MINUTES
4 chops — 7 to 8 MINUTES
5 chops — 8 to 10 MINUTES
