Item required
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
3 eggs
3 tablespoons water 1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon leaf basil

Setting: HIGH
1. Place butter in 9-inch glass pie plate.
2. MICROWAVE for about 1/2 MINUTE or until melted. Beat remaining ingredients into melted but¬ter. Cover with plastic wrap.
3. MICROWAVE for 1 MINUTE. Stir lightly; recover, and MICROWAVE for 1 to 11/2 MINUTES or until almost set in center. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes before serving.
1 to 2 Servings
TIPS For 2 egg omelet, use 1/2 tablespoon butter, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/8 teaspoon salt and dash pepper. MICROWAVE in 8-inch pie pan 45 SEC¬ONDS; stir; MICROWAVE for 11/4 MINUTES.
e For 4 egg omelet, use 1 tablespoon butter, 4 eggs,
4 tablespoons milk, 1/4 teaspoon salt, dash pepper. MICROWAVE in 10-inch pie pan 11/2 minutes; stir; MICROWAVE 11/4 minutes.
• MICROWAVE on MEDIUM for 2 MINUTES, then 1 to 11/2 MINUTES in step 3.

Garlic glazed lamb roast

Item required
cup dry sherry
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon leaf basil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oil
3 cloves garlic, minced, or 3/8 teaspoon instant minced garlic
4-lb. leg of lamb roast, boned

Setting: DEFROST
1. In 1 -cup glass measure, combine all ingredients except roast.
2. MICROWAVE for about 1 MINUTE or until mixture is warm. Place roast on microwave roasting rack or small casserole cover in 2-quart (12 x 7) glass bak¬ing dish. Baste roast with garlic glaze.
3. MICROWAVE for 20 MINUTES. Turn roast and baste with additional garlic glaze.
4. MICROWAVE for 20 to 25 MINUTES or until meat thermometer registers 165°F. basting several times with garlic glaze. Let stand, covered with foil, 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 180°F.
6 to 8 Servings
TIP MICROWAVE on MEDIUM a total of 10 MIN-UTES per lb.

Chicken magnifico

Item required

21/2 to 3-lb. frying chicken, cut up
1 can (101/2 oz.) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 cup (8-oz. can) undrained stewed
tomatoes
cup instant minced onion or 1 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon leaf basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 oz. (1/2 cup) chopped ham
Paprika

Setting: HIGH

1.    Cut larger pieces of chicken in half for uniform size. Arrange skin side up in 2-quart (12 x 7) glass baking dish.
2.    Combine remaining ingredients except paprika. Spoon over chicken. Sprinkle generously with pap¬rika; cover.
3.    MICROWAVE for 28 to 30 MINUTES or until chicken is done.
4 to 5 Servings

TIP
If you do not have ham on hand, it can be omit¬ted. Other luncheon meats or 1 tablespoon bacon-flavored bits can be used, if desired.
