Spicy baked fish fillets

This recipe is one of the best recipies in fish or non-vegetarian recipies.It is very tasty recipe.

Item required
500 g white fish fillets
4 red chillies, finely chopped and seeds
removed
2 slices fresh ginger, grated
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoons fresh lemon or lime juice
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon sugar
Preparation method
1 Lay fish fillets in a baking dish in a single layer.
2 Combine chillies, ginger, garlic, onion, lemon juice, turmeric and sugar.
3 Spread mixture over fish fillets, cover with foil. Bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes or until fish is tender.

Bombay whole fish curry

Generally, fish is a tasty food item to eat. All the people, who are non-veg likes to eat fish. Even the kids too, eat it happily.

Item required
60 g ghee
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
teaspoon grated fresh ginger
2 dried red chillies, cut lengthways and
chopped, seeds removed
1 tablespoon ground coriander 1 teaspoon ground turmeric 1 teaspoon ground mustard 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
11/4 cups (300 ml) coconut milk
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 kg whole fish
Preparation method
1 Melt ghee in a frying pan. Saute , garlic, ginger, chillies, coriander, taunt mustard and chilli, for 3 minutes.
2 Add coconut milk and lemon juice. To boil, reduce heat to low, simmer uncovered until thickened.
3 Add fish, cover, cook over low heat fc – 20 minutes or until fish is tender; turn once, stir sauce occasionally.
SERVES 4 To 6

Srilankan chicken curry

Generally, Chicken is a favorite item for all to eat. This srilankan chicken curry is very tasty and all of them likes very much.

Item required
30 g ghee
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 to 4 fresh green or red chillies, cut
lengthways into thin strips and seeds
removed
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 tablespoon ground coriander
11/2 kg chicken pieces
21/2 cups (625 ml) coconut milk
2 tablespoons coconut cream
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Preparation method
1 Melt ghee in a frying pan, add onion, garlic, chillies, turmeric and coriander. Saute for 2 minutes.
2 Add chicken pieces and coconut milk. Bring to boil, reduce heat to low, cover, simmer for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
3 Add coconut cream and lemon juice, simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
SERVES 4 To 6
