Barbecued luncheon sandwiches
Item required
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/2 cup (1/2 pepper) chopped green pepper 1 can (12 oz.) luncheon meat
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
6 hamburger buns, split and toasted 6 slices cheese

Setting: HIGH
1. In 1-quart glass casserole, combine butter and green pepper.
2. MICROWAVE for 2 MINUTES, stirring once. Cut luncheon meat into strips or cubes and add to pep¬per along with barbecue sauce, mixing to combine; cover.
3. MICROWAVE for 4 to 5 MINUTES or until mixture is bubbly, stirring twice. Spoon mixture onto toasted buns, topping with cheese slice and top half of bun.
4. Return to oven and MICROWAVE for about 1 MINUTE to melt cheese.

TIPS The various seasoned luncheon meats are good used in this recipe, too.
• This idea would also be good with sliced bologna, cut into thin strips.
• To use leftover filling, spoon refrigerated filling into toasted bun; top with cheese and heat 1 bun about 1 minute or until cheese is melted.
