“Mushroom bhujia” is a spicy recipe and yet most of the people said that showcases it and the answer will be “Mushroom bhujia”.

Item required
2 large onions, thinly sliced
125 g ghee
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 clove garlic, chopped
375 g mushrooms, sliced
Preparation method
1 Melt ghee in a saucepan, saute onions 3 minutes or until tender.
2 Add turmeric, chilli and garlic, saute 1 minute.
3 Add mushrooms, saute over low heat or until mushrooms are ready.
SERVES 4

This mushroom recipe is very easy to do and simple flavored recipe.

Oriental stir fried steak

Item required
1 lb. beef sirloin steak,
cut into thin slices
1/2 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons dry sherry
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 can (81/2 oz.) bamboo shoots, drained

Setting: HIGH
1. Combine steak, sugar, sherry and soy sauce. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Drain meat on paper towel (save marinade).
2. Preheat microwave browning grill as directed in manufacturers instruction booklet.
3. Add bamboo shoots to marinade. Add meat to grill. Top with onions and mushrooms.
4. MICROWAVE for 3 MINUTES, stirring twice. Add bamboo shoots and soy sauce mixture.
5. MICROWAVE 30 to 45 SECONDS or until heated through and meat is desired doneness. Serve with rice.
4 to 5 Servings

Buttered bread crumbs

Item required
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Setting: HIGH
1.    Combine butter, celery, mushrooms, onions and green pepper in 2-quart glass casserole.
2.    MICROWAVE for 2 to 3 MINUTES or until onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, bay leaf and wine; mix well. Add scallops and pimento.
3.    MICROWAVE for 5 MINUTES. Stir and MICRO-WAVE for 1 to 2 MINUTES or until thickened. Mix together in small bowl, cream and egg yolk; stir into scallop mixture.
4.    MICROWAVE for 1 to 2 MINUTES or until piping hot. Remove bay leaf. Spoon into 4 natural shells or 1-cup glass serving dishes.
5.    Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon Buttered Bread Crumbs on each serving. MICROWAVE for 1 to 2 MINUTES or until heated through. Let stand, cov-ered, 5 MINUTES before serving.
6.    Buttered Bread Crumbs: Place 2 tablespoons butter in 1-cup glass measure.
7.    MICROWAVE for about 1 MINUTE or until melted. Stir in bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.

Salmon with mushroom stuffing

Item required
4 salmon steaks, cut 3/4 inch thick
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
3 cups soft bread cubes
2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup milk

Setting: HIGH
1.    Arrange salmon steaks in 2-quart (12 x 7) glass baking dish with thick edges toward outside of dish. Sprinkle with salt; set aside. Combine butter, onion and celery in large glass mixing bowl.
2.    MICROWAVE for 2 to 3 MINUTES or until vegeta¬bles are partly cooked. Stir in bread cubes, mush¬rooms, parsley, salt, pepper and lemon juice; mix well. Sprinkle on top of salmon steaks. Pour milk over all; cover.
3.    MICROWAVE for 12 to 14 MINUTES or until salm¬on flakes easily. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes be¬fore serving. Garnish with lemon slices.
About 4 Servings
TIP If desired, add 2 tablespoons sherry to stuffing
