German style smoked chops
Item required
2 cups (1-lb. can) drained sauerkraut
1 small onion, chopped or 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
2 medium apples, chopped
1 tablespoon sugar
4 smoked pork chops
1/2 cup water

Settings: HIGH/DEFROST
1. In 2-quart (8 x 8 ) glass baking dish, mix together half of sauerkraut, onion, apple, and sugar. Top with chops; layer remaining sauerkraut, onion, apple and sugar over chops. Mix this layer lightly to distribute ingredients. Pour water over mixture; cover.
2. MICROWAVE on HIGH for 5 MINUTES.
3. MICROWAVE on DEFROST for 6to 8 MINUTES or until apple is tender.
